"Plainview Gopher Count" Happy Hour at the American Legion - NEW EVENT!!! - 4 :00 - 7:00 p.m. Plainview Gophers! Find your friends from far and near!  Every year, —starting this year—you and your high school friends and classmates have a place to gather, reminisce, and plan your next adventure together under the big tent at the Plainview Legion. Tentatively called the “Plainview Gopher Count” Happy Hour, we hope this annual event will help returning Gophers locate their lost friends, or make a new one. This year the classes of 1979 and 1999 will be holding their class reunions in conjunction with the ”Count”. So make plans to be at the Legionand then support the Plainview Fire Dept. at their dance from 8:30 to 12:30 at the “Muni”.

St. Isadore of Green Wood Prairie Carnival  4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Games, wagon rides, face painting, food and more! For information, call 534-3191.

5K/1 mile Run/Walk (American Legion) 8:00 a.m. - This event benefits the Plainviw Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams. Tractor Games - New Event!!! (Wedgewood Park) 2:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Plainview Lions and the Greenwood Prairie Classic Iron Club, the games will feature timed events including barrel race, chain in box, washer in bucket and touching post.
